Tutorials dont work

This game seems really cool... but since the tutorial functionality is broken and the game is a bit detailed/fiddly, I cant get past level 3/4. Ive got guys lined up but they wont take shots when an enemy presents in their line of sight. Ill bet this is some simple mistake Im making, but with no functioning instruction manual or tutorials Im not just going to keep wasting my time guessing at what buttons mean or what Im supposed to do.

May just ask for a refund if not fixed ASAP.
